Christ the Victor offers many opportunities for spiritual growth through our Christian Ed programs. No matter what your age or religious experience, there's a program here for you! Most programs meet on Sunday at 9:05 am from September through May. Check "The Messenger" for details.
Youth in 7th and 8th grades actively participate in Confirmation preparation at CTV. Lead by Pastor Brian and teachers, confirmands focus on these areas:
Catechism
Bible Study
Mission
Worship
The goal of our Confirmation program is to ready our young people for leadership roles within the church and community. Adult leaders provide instruction as their peer group works to support each other in their faith journey.
All confirmed youth are invited to join our Youth Group. CTV offers an 'educational' hour designed to prepare our young people to more fully understand and live their Christian faith. We also plan and hold entertaining activities, fundraisers and volunteer opportunities, some in conjunction with other churches, throughout the year.
Adult education programs and discussions are generally held on Sunday beginning at 9:15 am. Additional sessions may be held as well. Topics are selected based on the Pastor's or the leader's recommendations and group's interest. Everyone is encouraged to lead or assist with a new session. "A Gardener, Two Travelers and a Cheat"
Begin the church year with a new spiritual resolution to participate in this Adult Ed program. Beginning Sun, Jan 29th, the faith formation class begins a light-hearted study of Adam, Abraham, Sarah & Jacob. Class will continue each Sunday between worship services.
